A gripping story from its opening chapter, Dust to Dust tells the tale of a young girl, Evelyn, killed in a fire and doomed to haunt the land on which she died. She meets Lucas Ainsworth, a child who is attempting to run away from his new home where he doesn’t have any friends, and they hit it off. He falls in love with this beautiful ghost as he ages, but their relationship falls apart as Eve can’t leave the property or be seen by anyone. During this time though, Lucas promises to bring Evelyn back–a promise that will haunt him for the rest of his life, especially after he meets a charming young woman named Melanie. So, pick a team (#teamEve or #teamMel) and strap in for a roller coaster ride of emotions.

(And you’ll be thankful for that once you start reading and don’t want to stop.)
First Impressions: Do I need sleep? How important are the household chores today?
But seriously…I kept saying that I would only read a handful of chapters per sitting so that I would accomplish things around the house and I failed miserably at the chores part. This story is so well written and captivating that, once you start, you’re not going to want to stop. This is a plot-driven story, which makes it all the more enthralling, as Citizen has worked in a high amount of drama and curve balls, keeping you on the edge of your seat. If you’re looking for something that resembles a novel, then this is the story for you!
