Aboard a spacecraft, Penelope and her crew have encountered alien life. Unfortunately, the specimen held in captivity on board seems rather antisocial. That is until Penny comes to check on its status one day. As the two get to know each other, our feminine protagonist begins to bond with the specimen sharing her personal life and insecurities about her relationship with Frank. What will become of the new friends separated by the glass prison glass?

First Impressions: Eve is the epitome of what I enjoy from a good Sci Fi story. Voiced over with wonderful quality and even little details such as muffled tone behind the confines of the glass, this short film really stands out. In fact, the ending was so good that it quite literally took my breath away. LostMeadows somehow manages to make a beautiful and haunting story that makes you question those that you trust. Be aware that there is some nudity, violence, and sexual themes but they play an important role in the story.
